Technical Designer

Mac & Jac and Kensie provide women fashion inspired choices for their fast-paced, modern lives. The apparel, accessories and product line extensions grow with a woman by understanding and catering to her needs as she moves through the various stages of her life. Mac & Jac and Kensie are sold primarily through select specialty stores and department stores in US and Canada.

We are currently seeking a Technical Designer.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborating with Designers on initial specifications for new season styling
• Conducting fit sessions with the Design Team
• Measuring and fitting all samples throughout the product development process
• Communicating styling, fit, and workmanship comments to vendors
• Providing graded specifications for bulk production
• Conducting bulk production checks

• Be detail oriented and meticulous-a perfectionist about your work
• Possess excellent communication, and time management skills
• Have an excellent eye for fit and proportion
• Have the ability to problem solve
• Understand the apparel development process including garment construction, pattern making, and grading
• Be willing to take ownership and responsibility for all duties assigned
• Possess computer skills MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Illustrator, Photoshop

Candidates must have minimum 2 years previous experience in technical design.
